The party room includes two eight-foot rectangle tables and at least 25 chairs. The host may display decorations with the exceptions of piñatas, silly string, confetti and anything taped, stapled or applied to the walls. Party hosts are welcome to bring paper products, cake and non-alcoholic drinks or choose from our food options below.

You may have any number up to 25 guests, but the minimum cost is based on 10 guests, even if you have fewer.

Food Options



  • You may bring your own food at no extra cost (You must supply your own cake. There is a refrigerator and freezer onsite you may use).

 

  • You may have your food delivered. There are many pizza, sub, and take-out restaurants close to the Science Center.

 

  • Order our Food Packages ($3 per child):
    OPTION 1:  2 slices of cheese pizza and small drink
    OPTION 2: 1 hot dog, chips, and small drink.

 

 

Cancellation Policy

 

If host cancels a party for any reason, two or more weeks prior to the party date they will receive a refund minus a $25 handling fee. Any cancellation less than two weeks before the party date will receive a refund minus a $50 handling fee.

Frequently Asked Questions



Can the party guests stay longer or come in earlier than the party time?

No. You will only be allowed in the party room for the two hours scheduled as we may have other programs scheduled that day.

 

Can I add extra time onto my party?

No. The party time is allotted 2 hours and extra time is not available. You will be allowed into the room 15 minutes prior to the party to set up.

 

What do the guests need to do upon entering the Center?

Your guests will need to come to the Birthday Party Check-In when they arrive. We will direct them to the party room, after they have been hand stamped.

 

What food am I allowed to have at my party?

Hosts are welcome to bring cake and drinks or choose from our food options. All food must stay inside the party room.

 

When is the deposit due?

If the party is booked more than a month in advance, we will take a $75 deposit, with the balance being paid 2 weeks prior to the party. If the party is booked less than a month in advance, we will need the entire payment upon the time of booking. We accept cash, credit, and debit. No checks.

 

What clean up do I need to do?

We appreciate your leaving the room as you found it with all trash thrown in receptacles. You will need to make sure you take everything you want to keep.

 

What decorating is allowed?

We ask that you only decorate the tables. We will have the room decorated in your chosen theme. We do not allow piñatas, silly string, or confetti. No items may be placed on the walls.

 

I am not a member. If I sign up later can I still get the member discount?

Yes.

 

What happens if I have more guests than allowed?

We will do a headcount during the Education program of the party. At that time we will adjust the totals and if you have more than the prepaid adults and children, additional charges are due at the front desk.
